Web Resource Spotlight - PainAid
PainAid is the American Pain Foundation's interactive online support community.  It's a safe place for people with pain, their caregivers and even health care providers to interact in real time chats and on discussion boards.  PainAid is a supportive, non-judgmental learning center that stands for self advocacy and knowledge.  PainAid has over 100 message boards that cover nearly all of the most common concerns people with pain face including diagnosis and treatment, personal and family issues, and financial issues related to pain and medications.  PainAid has regularly scheduled chats each week and offers intermittent special topic chats with a guest speaker.  All of the message boards and scheduled chats are moderated.  Visit PainAid at http://painaid.painfoundation.org/
